Flemar is dedicated to protecting your data. We only store the essential information needed to identify you and deliver your slippers. No unnecessary details, like your favorite animal, are required to make your life cozier.

Yes, it's incredibly important to us, as Flemar is dedicated to supporting individuals with reduced mobility. Our co-founder Nassim, who uses a wheelchair, was so thrilled with how good Flemar slippers made his feet feel that he wanted to share that joy with others:

- We work in partnership with Manufast, who employs and supports people with disabilities to carefully pack and ship your slippers.

- For every 15 pairs of slippers sold, we donate a pair to someone with reduced mobility. If you have a disability yourself, register!

Flemar embraces a greener way of life, driven by a strong commitment to sustainability, particularly in light of the textile industry's significant environmental impact as the second-most polluting industry globally.

  • Tree Planting: For every pair of slippers sold, we plant a tree in Peru's Piura region through a reforestation project in partnership with Reforest'Action. This helps offset carbon emissions, combat deforestation, and restore degraded land.

  • Eco-Friendly Packaging: Our slipper boxes are crafted from 90% recycled cardboard and printed with water-based, non-toxic inks to minimize environmental harm.

b) Slippers

No, all Flemar slippers are unisex. We've designed them to be versatile and stylish, so everyone can enjoy the same cosy comfort, regardless of gender.

Flemar slippers are true to size. If you're between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one for extra comfort, because comfort is what matters most!

If it doesn’t fit, no worries! Just send it back to us, and we’ll replace it (please refer to the "Cancellation, Exchange & Problems" section for conditions).

Flemar are slippers designed to be the most comfortable in the world. Created to provide ultimate comfort, Flemar slippers offer relief to your feet (and your kids!) after a long day of work.

After extensive testing, we selected the perfect combination: a Corriedale sheep's wool insole and an alpaca wool crown. Guillaume traveled through the Andes, the natural habitat of alpacas, to handpick the highest quality raw materials.

An excellent question. Here are a few tips to keep your Flemars as soft and beautiful as the first day you took them out of the box.

Interior care :

The interior of your Flemar can be cleaned to remove stains or odors and to restore the softness and thickness of the wool layer.

1. Turn your Flemar inside out: Gently reverse the slippers so that the wool is on the outside and the leather is on the inside. The flexible design allows this without damage. Brush the wool with a soft brush to remove dirt or debris.

2. Prepare a cleaning solution: Dilute a neutral detergent (without fabric softener or bleach) in warm water. Lightly soak a clean sponge in the mixture and gently rub the wool to clean it.

3. Dry the wool: After cleaning, use a terry towel to gently pat the wool dry. Then, leave your Flemar upside down (with the wool facing out) to air dry for at least 24 hours. Make sure to dry them away from direct sunlight or heat sources to avoid damage.

Outer part care :

To clean stains from the leather, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare a crepe brush: Soak the crepe brush in lukewarm water, adding a small drop of diluted shampoo for stubborn stains. Gently scrub the Flemar, focusing on areas with halos or stains.

2. Allow to dry: Let your Flemar dry naturally for at least 24 hours, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

3. Final touch: Once dry, gently brush the entire Flemar with a soft brush to restore its smooth texture.

Some tips :

Tip #1: Simply turning your Flemar inside out, brushing them, and letting them air for 24 hours can work wonders for maintenance.

Tip #2: To preserve the quality of your Flemar, avoid washing them in the washing machine or dry cleaning. A little care goes a long way!

It depends on the model of slipper. Here’s a breakdown of the materials for each one:

Model «  The Insouciance » :

''The Insouciance" slipper is made of three key materials: :

Alpaca wool: Alpaca wool is used to make a collar of hair around the ankle.

This wool forms a cozy collar around the ankle, protecting it from cold air and helping to keep your feet warm.

The wool comes from the high plateaus of the Altiplano, Peru.

Sheep's wool: Sheep's wool (Coriendale) is used for the insole.

Used for the insole, sheep’s wool offers the perfect balance of softness and grip to keep your foot in place, without it slipping.

The wool is sourced from Peru.

"Badana" leather: Soft Badana leather, sourced from sheep, is used to make the body of the slipper.

This natural leather is breathable, which helps keep your feet warm while preventing sweating.

The leather is sourced from Peru.

Model " La Bohème " :

The La Bohème slipper contains these same three materials plus a new surprise material. Which one?

"Badana" leather: Leather is used for the sole.

The sole enhances comfort by cushioning against uneven surfaces. Additionally, every pair of Flemar includes an insole, helping to keep the interior clean for longer..

The leather comes from Peru.

At a time when the textile industry often relies on cheap, synthetic materials, Flemar has chosen to use natural, high-quality materials to craft the most comfortable slippers in the world. Alpaca wool plays a central role in the exceptional quality of our slippers. Did you know that:

- Alpaca fiber has the unique property of not retaining odors, making it ideal for feet that tend to get a little too warm and might develop unpleasant smells. Say goodbye to the classic sock odor!

- Alpaca wool is the softest wool in the world. The softness of a fiber depends on its diameter, and alpaca wool is among the finest natural fibers available, alongside cashmere and angora. In fact, it’s nearly 10 times finer than regular wool!

- The alpaca is a cousin of the llama. It's a really flemar animal, offering just 1.5kg of fibre a year. By comparison, a sheep yields up to 8kg per shearing! At 4,000 tonnes per year, alpaca production is 125 times less than that of sheep, and 2.5 times less than cashmere! There's a reason alpaca wool is so expensive.

- Alpaca fibres are renowned for their warmth. Cold-weather fans will want more!

- The properties of alpaca wool are so numerous that it was considered the fibre of the Gods by the Incas. Only Inca royalty were allowed to wear alpaca clothing. It is our pleasure to inform you of this, Your Highness.

Flemars are crafted entirely by hand in Peru.

1. Purchasing Wools and Hides: Sheep and alpaca wool, as well as hides, are carefully selected from alpaca farms in the Peruvian highlands, where the altitude exceeds 4,000 meters.

2. Treatment and Cleaning: The leather and wool are meticulously treated and dried to achieve the finest quality, soft, luxurious wool and supple, durable leather.

3. Assembly and Stitching: Each pair of Flemars is crafted with care and precision in the workshops of our trusted artisans, with whom we've partnered since 2020.

4. Brushing and Finishing Touches: The Flemar crowns are carefully brushed and recut to achieve a smooth and elegant woolen finish. The final details are meticulously checked to ensure perfection, no stray seams, just flawless slippers.

5. Shipping and Packaging: Once completed, Flemar are sent to our partner Manufast in Belgium, where dedicated teams of disabled workers lovingly pack each order with care and attention to detail.
