For the Flemar Mittens, we’ve kept our winning formula: a soft interior made of Corriedale sheep's wool, a durable leather exterior, and an alpaca wool crown to keep your wrists warm and toasty.
SOFT, SUPPLE LEATHER
The Mitten is wrapped in a beautiful layer of "Badana" leather, a supple and robust leather that adds an extra layer of insulation. Over time, this leather only improves in appearance.
THE FINEST PERUVIAN ALPACA WOOL FOR WARM, COZY CUFFS
To combine softness and warmth, we opted for alpaca wool. Known for its durability, alpaca wool is 3 times more resistant and 7 times warmer than sheep's wool, which makes it the Rolls-Royce of wools.
It also contains microscopic air pockets that enhance its thermal properties, keeping you warm in winter and breathable in summer.
You'll find our delicate alpaca wool at the opening of the Mittens. It wraps around your wrists with the utmost softness.
INSIDE THE MITTENS? 100% CORRIEDALE
We use Corriedale sheep's wool inside our Mittens. Known for its excellent thermal properties, softness, and natural crimp, this wool is also highly breathable. Say goodbye to cold fingers.

Just like our slippers, our mittens are unisex. No need to be jealous, Flemar mittens fit everyone perfectly!
Great, but how do you know if it's the right size?
Before ordering, please measure your hand size! To measure the height, start at your wrist and measure up to your fingertips. For the width, measure across your hand at the base of your fingers (around the knuckles).
A FINAL WORD OF ADVICE...
We recommend that all seasoned Flemarians, especially those venturing out in rainy weather, ensure their mittens are waterproof. Simply apply a waterproofing spray to the leather for added protection. However, we strongly advise against wearing mittens in heavy rain, as they are not designed for such conditions.
In 2018, we set out to create the world's cosiest slippers. Our partner, Guillaume, traveled across the Peruvian Altiplano region, home to some of the finest wool in the world and artisans who have been perfecting their craft for generations.

THE FINEST ALPACA WOOL
Alpacas are found in the high-altitude plateaus of Bolivia and Peru. Their top-quality wool allows them to easily withstand the harsh climatic conditions of The Altiplano.
Our craftsmen know these high plateaus like the back of their hand and work directly with a network of local breeders, no middlemen involved. This ensures we get the best quality at the best price, while fairly compensating our partners.
Each pair of mittens is handcrafted in Peru, a meticulous process orchestrated to perfection by Ariane and lovingly executed by our skilled craftsmen.
THERE'S NOTHING LIKE HANDMADE PRODUCTS TO KEEP YOUR HANDS WARM
Walter, our Flemar expert, personally travels to the Altiplano to source the handpicked wool before each production run begins. The wool is then transported to Lima, where our workshop is located. There, it is carefully treated, cleaned by hand, and dried in the sun.
Because this cause is especially close to our hearts, Flemar supports the employment of people with disabilities.

European Delivery: At Flemar, there are no hidden costs. While delivery isn’t free, we aim to be transparent about pricing. All shipments are dispatched from Brussels, and delivery times and costs depend on your location:
- Belgium (€4.30): 1 to 3 working days
- France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany (€4.90): 2 to 7 working days
- Rest of the EU & UK (€8.40): 3 to 10 working days

EXCHANGES
We hope you enjoy your Flemar! However, if for any reason you're not completely satisfied, returning them is simple thanks to our 30-day return policy. You can return the items within 30 days of receiving your order, and we’ll either replace them or refund the amount paid.
